McBush has chosen his running mate. It’ll be Sarah Palin. Sarah has been governor of Alaska since 2006 and before that she served two terms as both Wasilla, Alaska (pop. 9000) city councilwoman and mayor of that thriving metropolis. Sarah’s other accomplishments include being named runner up of the 1984 Miss Alaska contest and marrying one of the few (r)epuke union members left in America. And I thought Brownie’s resume was impressive!

The pick clearly shows the level of desperation that has overtaken the McSame campaign. His pathetic staff has decided that the best way to charm Hillary voters is to name a pro-“life”, pro-gun, pro-war (almost) beauty queen. Didn’t they even bother to check out what Hillary Clinton stands for? I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again- any Hillary voter who casts a ballot for McCain/Palin should immediately switch his or her registration to (r). This pick is such a joke.

  1. Don’t forget the ‘intellegent design’ business. She’s one of those folks too! I like that she stands up to corruption in her own party (sort of), but her stance on many issues is just too far out there for me. That, and the intellegent design stance is a deal breaker for me. Always.

  2. Curioso-

    Yeah, she’s a real “corruption-buster”. Check this out…

Intelligent design? We need to come up with a new name for that theory. When I hear the words intelligent design, an image of Fred Flintstone riding a dinosaur always comes to mind.

Thanks for commenting. Have a happy and safe holiday weekend.

    PEACE

  3. Admittedly, I don’t know much about the woman. Initially I liked the fact that she called out Ted Stevens. The more I read though, the more it seems she did that more out of necessity than honesty. Not that I would ever vote for that ticket anyhow. I am a student of science and the idea that ‘creationism’ or ‘intelligent design’ have any place in a science classroom churns my stomach.

Thanks for the link. It’s nice to hear the take of an Alaskan.

    Enjoy your holiday as well!
