Sarah Palin Thinks Cancer is Funny

Hooooraaay for Cancer!!!

Hooooraaay for Cancer!!!

Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin appeared on an Alaskan “shock jock” radio show in January of this year. At one point in the program, one of the hosts referred to Alaska’s state senate president and fellow republican Lyda Green as a “cancer” and a “bitch”. Green is a cancer survivor. Palin’s response? Laughter. Audio clip here…

  1. I’d like to know why any Hillary voters would support someone like this. Please, I’m all ears.

  2. Sarah Palin is a pro-NRA gun fanatic who likes to kill things with guns, and call it a “sport.” (Well, with any luck, she has a better aim than Dick Cheney.)

    She is vehemently anti-gay.

    She denies global warming.
(Well, maybe that makes sense in Alaska.)

My question: How can she call herself Christian?

I thought Christian meant that you follow the teachings of Christ. No?!
Killing things for “sport” when the commandment is Thou Shalt Not Kill

Hating two people because they love each other when the commandment is
    to love one another!

Putting corporate profits above protecting the planet when the commandment
is that we be stewards of the earth

Being pro-war, when the commandment is to
    hammer your swords into plowshares

Look, if you’re a biased, intolerant war-dog who likes to shoot things,
FINE, but don’t go around telling people that Jesus is your hero.

  5. Ridiculous – you all would rather fear the killing of animals – than the killing of babies – need I say more??? The abortion issue is primary – and this is a woman who will respect life – yeah she blue it on a foolish shock jock show – but look at the bigger pic – her little one has special needs – and she adamantly refused to end his life . . . that is a woman I would vote for. . . sorry – animals were given to us to eat . . . check the bible on that one.

  6. I never said anything about animals, or abortion for that matter. “you all would rather fear the killing of animals…”. First off, your “sentence” doesn’t even make sense. Second, that is quite a generalization you’re making. How do you know what “we all” think? Are you all knowing?

“she blue it on a foolish shock jock show”. Mama, the verb you’re looking for here is “blew”, not the color “blue”. Spelling mistakes are one thing, but do you really expect anyone to respect your opinions when you don’t know the difference between blew and blue?

“check the bible on that one”. This may be news to you, but every American doesn’t necessarily consult the Bible for instructions to live his/her life. America is not a “Christian nation” anymore than it is a Jewish nation, Hindu nation, or nation of any other faith. Haven’t you ever heard of freedom of religion?

    Yeeesh.

  7. Finally, someone who I can actually trust to vote for….and isn’t preaching about change all the time, yet not saying what kind of “change” he’s for….

  9. Falling in the polls, bring up Roe V. Wade, the cash cow that has won most elections republicans have won, think they would reverse that, good luck. About the daughter, please, do not hold her up as an example for our daughters.
What changes are they talking about, more war, more profit for the oil companies, need the money we have paid into social security, what? After the last eight years, I know the change they want will not be good for the majority of this brainwashed society.

  11. She also loves her some redistribution of wealth!

I even found some wingnuts that think so!

Of course, that was before she was picked for VP. They seem to have forgotten about this little gem:

  12. Thankfully no one interested in finding the truth will think twice about voting for Palin. If Obama had selected anyone even remotely as unqualified as Palin, Republicans would have had a field day talking about how he could not be trusted with the presidency. I hope that I would have joined in that view. But, she is a “soccer-mom” and has a baby, and is an energy expert … blah, blah, blah…

Energy expert? How does taxing the oil company and sending the money to your residents make you an expert on anything? Doesn’t that sound like what Republicans accuse Dems of always wanting to do?

No, it’s a frightening thought to think of another four years on top of eight where our country is led by ideologues with no deeper view of life than this.

  13. Curioso- Great find. I’ll add it to my arsenal. Thanks!

Mr. Bob- “Energy expert? How does taxing the oil company and sending the money to your residents make you an expert on anything? Doesn’t that sound like what Republicans accuse Dems of always wanting to do?”

Good question. I’d like for Sarah Paln to answer it, but she has made herself unavailable to the press.

“No, it’s a frightening thought to think of another four years on top of eight where our country is led by ideologues with no deeper view of life than this.”

Frightening indeed. We must educate everyone that we know of the stakes of the 2008 elections.
